Selon Autosport, le Rallye de Monte-Carlo fait partie des 14 épreuves qui seront soumises au Conseil Mondial de l’Automobile le mois prochain pour l’établissement du calendrier de la saison 2011.

Relégué au rang IRC depuis deux ans, le Rallye de Monte-Carlo pourrait faire son retour en WRC en 2011. L’épreuve monégasque fait partie des 14 candidates pour la saison prochaine. La grande nouveauté pourrait être la tenue d’un rallye à Abu Dhabi:rolleyes: en remplacement de la Jordanie. La liste complète selon Autosport : Monte-Carlo, Suède, Mexique, Portugal, Abu Dhabi, Argentine, Italie (Sardaigne), Turquie, Finlande, Allemagne, Australie, France, Espagne (Catalogne), Grande-Bretagne. La décision sera prise le mois prochain à Bahreïn par le Conseil Mondial de l’Automobile.
