Le processus d'attribution des quotas olympiques aux différents comités olympiques pour le biathlon est terminé.
Les vingt premières fédérations de la Coupe des Nations 2024/25 avaient déjà acquis le droit de qualifier quatre à six athlètes, tandis que pour les autres, 12 quotas par sexe étaient disponibles, avec un maximum de deux par comité olympique.
Le classement pour les 12 quotas par sexe est établi en fonction des points de qualification IBU : les quotas ne sont pas personnels, mais à la disposition des comités olympiques, il n'est donc pas certain que l'athlète qui a obtenu le quota soit effectivement sélectionné.
Chez les hommes, deux places sont attribuées à la Moldavie , au Kazakhstan, à la Croatie  (Matija Legovic et Kresimir Crnkovic), à la Slovaquie  (Jakub Borgul'a et Šimon Adamov), tandis qu'une place chacune revient au Danemark  (Sondre Slettemark), à la Grande-Bretagne  (Jacques Jefferies), à la Chine (probablement Yan Xingyuan) et à la Corée du Sud .
Le cas de la Corée est curieux, car la place a en fait été remportée par Timofei Lapshin, qui a conservé la dernière place du classement malgré sa disparition depuis l'ALGB  2024. Reste à voir s'il pourra se rattraper pour les Jeux, sinon Choi du-jin pourrait prendre sa place.
Sondre Slettemark, tout comme sa sœur Ukaleq Astri, participe à la Coupe du monde pour le Groenland ??, qui ne dispose toutefois pas de son propre comité olympique. Elle représentera donc le Danemark ?? aux Jeux olympiques.
Chez les femmes, deux places reviennent au Danemark  (Anne De Besche et Ukaleq Astri Slettemark), au Kazakhstan  et à la Chine  (deux parmi Chu Yuanmeng, Meng Fanqi et Tang Jialin), tandis qu'une place revient à la Moldavie  (probablement Alina Stremous), la Grande-Bretagne  (probablement Shawna Pendry), l'Australie  (Darcie Morton), la Roumanie , la Croatie  (probablement Anika Kozica) et la Corée du Sud  (probablement Ekaterina Avvakumova).
Sur la base de cette répartition des quotas, seules la Slovaquie ??, qui comptait déjà quatre femmes qualifiées, et le Kazakhstan ?? pourront prendre le départ du relais mixte.
Les comités olympiques ont jusqu'au 21 janvier pour confirmer l'utilisation des quotas.

For guests traveling solely to watch the competitions and holding a valid ticket, the digital race ticket in the Milano Cortina app serves as the official access authorization.

INFORMATION for guests with accommodation in the Antholz Valley:

Guests arriving during the 10 competition days:

Zone 2 (Rasun – Antholz Niedertal) from 08:00 to 14:00 | Zone 1 (Antholz Niedertal – Antholz Obertal) from 08:00 to 19:00

With their booking confirmation, guests will receive a day pass at the pass distribution point at the valley entrance, allowing them to reach their accommodation.
For the entire stay, the host in the Antholz Valley will issue a Car Pass (to be returned at departure). This pass must be clearly displayed on the windshield.

Access to the Antholz Valley during the 10 competition days:

3-zone system: A separate Car Pass is required for access to each zone.
Application for the Car Pass: The required form is available at the municipality or at the Antholz Valley Tourist Info office. It must be fully completed and then sent to the municipality by e-mail.

Collection of the Car Pass: The Car Passes are physical stickers for the windshield. After applying, they can be collected by presenting the printed form in the morning at the Municipality of Rasen-Antholz and in the afternoon at the Tourist Info office in Niederrasen.

INFORMATION for day visitors (winter sports enthusiasts):

Cross-country skiers (trails accessible only up to Antholz Mittertal) and alpine skiers (Riepenlift visitors) must collect a day pass at the pass distribution point at the valley entrance.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT:

Bus line 431 operates during the 10 competition days at the regular fares. Shuttle buses B and C to Antholz Mittertal and shuttle A to the Biathlon Stadium are available free of charge for all passengers.
A dedicated shuttle service is available for people with disabilities. Important: this service must be booked online in advance and is available exclusively to visitors who have purchased a ticket for people with disabilities.
